Dr. Ellen S. Oh

Dr. Oh’s passion in dentistry began when she first had her braces in her elementary school years. She had an orthognathic problem that was going to cause a protruded lower jaw. She was awestruck by how orthodontic treatment has prevented her from not only getting misaligned jaws but also from losing her confidence in smiling. From then, her passion to learn dentistry and giving beautiful smiles to those who are in need. Based on her experiences, she understands the concerns of her patients and is able to empathize with them.

Dr. Oh completed her undergraduate degree at University of California, Los Angeles with majors in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics. Her passion for dentistry continued on during her undergraduate years, so she tried to intern in a variety of dental offices to gain much experience and knowledge before achieving her doctorate degree. Dr. Oh then pursued her dental doctorate at Loma Linda University, graduating at the top of her class with high honors. During dental school, Dr. Oh worked hard to provide the highest quality of work while personalizing care for all her patients.

Today, Dr. Oh is proud to be a lifelong learner who regularly partakes in conferences and continuing education to stay at the top of the field. She is part of the administrative members of one of most prestigious study clubs in the West Coast, West Coast Study Club affiliated with Seattle Study Club. She is also proud to be a Member of International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Oh was born in South Korea and raised there until 2001. She then moved to Honolulu, HI with her family, where she fell in love with warm weather and a variety of sports, including golf and swimming. She then moved to southern California in 2004 to pursue her studies and graduated as Salutatorian of class of 2008 from Whittier Christian High School. Then she went to UCLA and Loma Linda University to finish her school. During her college years, Dr. Oh met her husband, Mason Kim, and now they are proud parents of two children and two cat babies. She loves to spend her free time with her family and friends, and if she ever gets free time on her own, she loves to read, exercise, and relax with a cup of coffee.
